01 What is an Associate Degree Program (ADP)?
An ADP is an HEC-approved two-year degree taught over four semesters. It replaces the old two-year BA/BSc and is designed to be both a job-ready qualification and a bridge into BS studies.
02 Is RIC Wah Cantt part of Riphah International University?
Yes. Riphah International College (RIC) is the 40+ campus college network of Riphah International University, which was chartered by the Federal Government in 2002. RIC Wah Cantt Campus is a project of the university and follows its academic standards.
03 Which Intermediate groups are offered?
We offer six Intermediate groups:
- F.Sc (Pre-Medical)
- F.Sc (Pre-Engineering)
- ICS (Computer Science)
- FCS
- I.Com (Commerce)
- F.A (I.T)
04 Can I continue to a BS after my ADP?
Yes. As per HEC policy, ADP graduates can take lateral entry into BS programs — typically joining the fifth semester of a relevant BS, subject to the admitting university’s policy. Speak to admissions to confirm the pathway for your specific subject.
05 What are the class timings? Is it full-time?
Yes — these are regular, full-time programs with classes held on campus on a semester system. Exact timetables are shared at orientation and may vary by program.
06 Are there scholarships or fee concessions?
Merit-based scholarships and fee concessions are available. RIC graduates who continue to Riphah International University are also eligible for the RIC Graduates Assistantship, as per Riphah scholarship policy. Contact the admissions office to find out which options apply to you.
